Our Summer Youth Tillers program aims to encourage intergenerational learning spaces through youth providing hands-on support to community gardeners during the busiest time of the growing season. You will learn about the history behind community gardening, the people power behind green spaces and the value of such growing food in marginalized communities. This is a NYC based internship.

Ages: 14 - 17
Compensation: $17/hr | 15hrs/wk

First round in-person Interviews: June 15th, 17th, 18th
Second round in-person interviews: June 20th
Program Duration: June 27th - August 22nd
Program Start date: June 27th
If you are not able to commit to the program schedule, travel or in person work please do not apply. This program is challenging, involving hard outdoor work on hot summer days, but is very rewarding if you are up for the challenge!
